Chandlee and Sons Construction Company with managing partners, Seth Chandlee and Jim Chandlee, have constructed office spaces for clients throughout the Atlanta metro area since the company’s creation. After the ground-up construction of the BETHANY BEND VILLAGE OFFICE PARK, Seth and Jim undertook three design/build office projects in John Weiland’s Braeburn Village: CRABAPPLE FINANCIAL, ALPHA SPINE CENTER and the Atlanta headquarters of SIMOS INSOURCING.
Our firm also constructed the business offices for the ALPHARETTA CONVENTION AND VISITOR’S BUREAU and the BELLE ISLE law firm both located in the same building. And in late 2013, our firm designed and constructed an office for the ANKLE AND FOOT CENTER in Sembler’s Deerfield Place shopping center on Highway 9 in Alpharetta, Georgia
In 2014 Jim and Seth secured a contract to finish eight units in the TOWN BROOKHAVEN center for Sembler, Inc. The scope of this commercial venture was to finish the first-generation (white box) spaces by installing the plumbing, heating, electrical, and security systems, adding restrooms and storage, and painting all wall surfaces and trim. Chandlee and Sons out bid one of the world’s largest commercial construction firms for the design/build of the ROCKET FARM CORPORATE OFFICE – the corporation of award-winning Chef Ford Fry. The design of this business construction project gave the company glass-fronted offices of various sizes and large shared-use spaces within a light drenched open concept. The construction began in mid November and the project was turned over to their executives on December 5.
The build-out construction of office spaces is similar to tenant finish projects as both involve the installation of mechanicals, paint, trim and interior walls. In addition, offices require additional interior walls to separate the variety of spaces that include break rooms, storage rooms, lobbies, employee kitchens and of course, offices. Some business projects require waiting rooms, exam rooms and rooms that house special equipment. Top-of-the-line materials for floors, walls and ceilings are usually desired as finishes. And often the design will require built-in structures such as cabinets, shelving, bookcases, and cubicles.
Many of the commercial projects Chandlee & Sons undertakes, whether restaurants, bars, or retail spaces, also include private offices for the clients. Therefore we invited you to browse through the projects listed in each category (shown in the blue section to the right). Do not hesitate to contact us by phone or email anytime. A managing partner will be more than glad to discuss any project with you and provide you a free quotation.
