Tami is part of a small family from Stockton, California. She makes it a point to talk to her only sister and her parents every day. Tami graduated from Amos Alonzo Stagg High School. She met her future husband, Harold, in 1991 while they both worked at a local pizzeria – two years later they began dating and in 1995 they married.
Together they have three grown children, Bryce, McKenzie and Jenna. Harold ran the Stockton Elite Wrestling Club for twenty-two years with Tami’s help and she held an administrative position while he was the head coach of the Bear Creek High School wrestling team. Their three children participated in both programs and McKenzie and Jenna earned wrestling scholarships to a college in Kentucky. After their youngest child graduated from high school, Tami and her husband retired in 2019 to experience the freedom to travel and follow their girls’ wrestling matches.
After thirteen years as a stay-at-home mom Tami took a position as a Veterinary Assistant in 2008. Four years later she went to work as a receptionist for the Village Veterinary Hospital and was promoted to Office Manager within five years. After their son Bryce also moved across the country to attend college in Knoxville, Tennessee, Tami was now free to fulfill her dream of moving to the South. With Harold on board they relocated to Duluth,
Georgia in January of 2020 with Jaxxon, an eleven-year-old Maltese, Dake, an eight-year-old Pitbull, plus a two-year-old cat name Phoebe. They all settled down happy they made the move and loving the Georgia life. Tami and Harold really enjoy the nature that the state of Georgia offers by taking hikes often and day trips to explore the state.
While continuing to work for the Stockton veterinarian as a consultant – she is currently revising their policies and handbooks, Tami also sells beanies at the prompting of her eldest daughter utilizing her talent for loom knitting and being creative. Together they created a seasonal online shop called the BB4U Boutique. She makes merchandise for the shop and, also blogs on her site ‘ABC’s to You and Me: Life After Kids’. Tami blogs to encourage empty nesters that it is ok to be ok with your children becoming adults.
If all these activities aren’t enough, Tami answered an ad on Indeed.com for the position of Administrative Assistant and Receptionist for the Chandlee Holdings companies. She knew from the first minute of her interview that everyone at Chandlee Holdings was going to make the move to work for the companies so easy. She is excited to be part of the Chandlee and Sons team.
