Chandlee Construction Company signed a commercial build-out contract on November 6, 2018 with Emilie Lindberg, Principle Architect and Facilities Planner for Revelator Coffee Company.
The Revelator Coffee Company is a Limited Liability Company whose offices are at 730 First Avenue North in Birmingham, Alabama. The architect is New Space Design, Inc., located in Suite 200 at 3331 North Berkeley Lake Road in Berkeley Lake, Georgia, which is in Gwinnett County.
This project is under the supervision of Michael McCall, Project Manager, and Mary Chandlee, Project Administrator. This is an eight-week project including three days of demolition of an existing space inside the Phipps Plaza shopping mall in the Buckhead shopping and dining district of north Atlanta. This is Chandlee Construction’ second project for Revelator Coffee with a third project soon to begin.
The contract basics include installing insulation in the walls that define the space, constructing several interior walls of various heights (finished and painted), extensive millwork, shelving brackets, installing the ceiling finishes, adding vinyl flooring with waterproof membrane and cove base, the relocation of a door and the framing and installation of others, the relocation of the fire sprinklers and the installation of fire alarms and extinguishers, plumbing and electrical work, a grease trap, and the installation of the HVAC components. Design details include soap stone countertops and a faux copper ceiling.
