The scope of the work on the residence of Brian and Lori Askew was to remodel a guest house, make repairs to walls inside the indoor pool space, repair some exterior walls on the main residence, repair various exterior doors, restructure the stone stairways, repair metal hand rails and repair the chimney.
The project began June 27, 2016 under the supervision of Chandlee Construction Company’s Project Managers, Chuck Fatheree and Michael Reel, each contributing their portion while managing commercial projects.
Chuck logged in mid-July that the guest house remodel was complete. Michael logged on July 18 that the handrails on the bedroom stoop and stairs were installed. He showed the client’s representative, Mr. Finegold, brass finish and cedar thresholds from which to make his choice. Michael also suggested mahogany as a wood that is excellent for this type of application.
