Chandlee Construction Company signed a contract on May 2, 2019 with Joseph Goldstein, owner of Somera Road/Athens Georgia, L.L.C., for the demolition and build-out of two white box spaces in a previously leased single space in the Athens West center. Chandlee Construction also signed a contract on May 6, 2019 to provide the architectural permit set, new layout and other architectural specific items and the MEP plans.
The scope of this commercial design/build project is to remove the finishes from the previous tenant, an Ingles grocery store, then, bring the utilities up to code per Athens/Clarke county requirements, and divide the space into two white box or vanilla box spaces. The time frame is six weeks from the day work begins. Warren Phillips is our Project Manager on this commercial build-out project.
