Chandlee and Sons Construction Company began a new design-build project for Azalea Bridal and Formal on Monday, July 14, 2014. The retail space was a former video store that the Chandlee crew converted into a new bridal and formal wear salon.
The scope of this commercial project required the construction of fourteen custom dressing rooms placed in groups along the walls and one set as a divider. The cash/wrap stand was updated with contrasting colors of black and white, and a new portion was constructed of glass to display the glittering accessories, Large, beautiful cut glass chandeliers where hung in strategic locations within the space and additional light fixtures were added to the existing over head fixtures. Four new doors were installed and all of the storefront glass was replaced. The Chandlee crew cleaned the existing wood floors and carpeting. They painted the ceiling and doors black and wall surfaces white. The black and white color scheme creates the perfect back ground to set off the array of wedding dresses and colorful formals. The extensive glass front of the new location offers a fantastic view of the all the beautiful dresses in the day time and especially at night – see the pictures below.
This is a second location for the owners. They chose to relocated to the Embry Village Shopping Center because if offered them a better location in metro Atlanta and twice the square footage. The new store is located at 3541 Chamblee Tucker Road on north side of Interstate 285.
