Chandlee and Sons Construction Company was chosen as the commercial contractor for a series of high-end tenant finishes in John Wieland’s Braeburn Village, a mixed use development in the Crabapple community of Alpharetta, Georgia. This second design-build project for Chandlee and Sons in Braeburn Village was a $300,000 upscale classic southern design of a two-story building painted a deep cranberry red for the new tenant, M. Todd Byars, owner of Crabapple Financial Services.
Seth Chandlee and Jim Chandlee, co-owners of Chandlee and Sons, wanted this design-build project to have only the very best finishes with commercial grade carpet, walnut stained hardwood and stone tile floors, break room countertops made of stone, carefully chosen dark wood stains for the doors, trim and built-ins, and a hand-built oak and wrought iron staircase..
Proceeding from the lobby at the front of the building there are beautifully appointed offices and a conference room. The oak and wrought iron staircase leads to the upper floor that contains additional well-lighted offices and an employee kitchen and restrooms. The building contains a total of twelve office suites. The use of wainscoting painted a bright white was purposely chosen to set off the quietly elegant paint colors and the furnishings. To complete the charming design, large classic light fixtures were mounted on the walls in the stairway.
