Chandlee Construction Companyhas designed and built several Atlanta area stores for Tuesday Morning beginning with the Deerfield Place store in Alpharetta, the Parkaire Landing store and the Parkway Pointe store both in Cobb County.
In 2016 Tuesday Morning increased the size, inventory and look of their stores while incorporating new energy management. This expanded focus was first implemented in their Norcross store in the Village at Peachtree Corners development. The Chandlee Construction’ team was charged with building out an adjacent unused space and tying it into the existing open store – both storage and retail areas for a total of 21,000 square feet. While on a construction site inspection, Seth Chandlee, CEO of Chandlee Holdings and co-founder of Chandlee Construction Company, commented, “This project was an expansion of the #76 Norcross store utilizing the latest prototype specifications. Our team of architects and engineers worked with Tuesday Morning personnel and representatives from Siemens, specialists in renewable and sustainable energy, to create the fastest turn around in ‘TM’ history.”
Seth Chandlee received another call from Tuesday Morning executives inJuly announcing they were arrivingthe following day to discussthe remodel of existing stores and building-outa completeprototype store. An executive remarked, “Seth, how much time do you have? We have one hundred stores to build.” Construction began in early August on the Brighten Park store in northeast Atlanta under an aggressive schedule. Seth remarked on September 21, “Brighten Park is the first 100% prototype store in the southeast. A second one will soon open in Knoxville, Tennessee. At this point we have about two weeks to finish.” On October 3 representatives from Tuesday Morning completed a walk through with the Chandlee Construction staff. They asked for some additions to the scope and by November 3 finish photos were being taken.
