Chandlee and Sons Construction Company signed a contract on August 20, 2018 with Enterprise Leasing Company of Georgia whose office is at 11572 Alpharetta Highway in Roswell, Georgia.
The scope is to remodel a former vehicle rental garage and office into a technician service garage. This project is under the expert supervision of our Senior Project Manager, Ken Rybnikar and Project Administrator, Bailey Kirchner. Our crew will also develop the site and add security gates and all necessary equipment.
As of September 21, demolition was ninety percent complete. The following week our crews began framing and installing the underground plumbing and electrical utilities. By the end of November, the painters were finished. Demolition of the exterior began the previous week – this involved moving dirt, etc. Crews began the site work officially on December 3.
The office will not only receive new partitions but a new ceiling grid and acoustical tiles. Our crew will install new counters with a sink in the breakroom, provide new restrooms, locker rooms, and a scrub sink. All the lighting will be upgraded to LED lighting and new outlets will be installed where needed.
The renovations to the garage include adding a chain link fence around an area for part storage. A mezzanine will be constructed. The existing grease waste drain will be replaced with a trench drain at the garage doors. Hi bay light fixtures will also be ungraded to LED and new outlets added at each bay for mobile computer diagnostics kiosks.
The installation of the electrical still in progress by the end of October, as well as, the framing of the wall studs and the installation of the property fencing.

Bailey Kirchner, Project Administrator on this commercial ground-up project, noted on December 21, “The electricians are finishing their work on the interior of the new building and the plumber is installing the restroom sink today. The final inspection for the fire and plumbing work is scheduled for after the holidays. On Friday the electricians will return to trench and run power for the guard shack and the automatic gate system. The lean-to canopy will be installed next week. Posts (12 feet by 8 feet) are being fabricated and will be ready next week to be installed.”
Ten days later Bailey updated, “The trenching is complete, and power is operable in the guard shack and ready for bollard and gate system. The components of the bollard and gate system will soon be delivered to the site.
Seth Chandlee, Chief Executive Officer of Chandlee Holdings, LLC and Founding Partner of Chandlee and Sons Construction, posted this January 3, 2019 concerning this project at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, “The new auto mechanic shop is completed. The new barrier systems and parking lot are underway as I speak!”
Bailey noted on January 11 that work on the interior of the building was complete and the final inspection is scheduled for Monday. The bollard/gate system was delivered yesterday. Once the electrical work is complete the team will begin installing the system. The final inspection and Certificate of Occupancy was issued on the 14th. The tool gage was installed and furniture for the office, breakroom and lobby was delivered this same week.
