On July 7, 2014, Chandlee and Sons Construction Company signed a commercial construction contract with Paul, Debbie and Aaron Smith for the tenant finish of a retail space in the Haynes Bridge Village Center in John’s Creek, Georgia. The Chandlee and Sons crew began demolition work on Monday, July 14 inside the space that would soon be the Smith’s Pro Gadget Clinic, a mobile device repairs and accessory sales store.
The tenant finish construction for this 1,400 square foot commercial space included the installation of slat walls, new wood trim and back boards. The floor covering was upgraded to a luxury vinyl tile, new vinyl cove base was installed, and modifications were made to the heads of the sprinkler system to insure the system met the required code. Repairs were made to the ceiling and new custom color paint was applied to all of the trim and wall surfaces.
Jim Chandlee, co-owner of Chandlee and Sons, was the Project Manager for the retail construction of this commercial space. Jim’s expertise proved invaluable when he completed the demolition and build-out in record time. He turned the completed Pro-Gadget Clinic over to the delighted new owners on August 18. Co-owner, Paul Smith, made these remarks concerning the work performed by Chandlee and Sons Construction: “I initially contacted Chandlee & Sons for the build-out of my gadget repair and accessories store based on a positive referral from the owners of Johns Creek Liquors. In addition to having a competitive cost estimate, it was also important to me that the general contractor had experience working with the city of Johns Creek and my shopping center management company. Chandlee & Sons met all my requirements. Specifically, Jim Chandlee is a person who dealt honestly with me. He quickly earned my respect and trust. I appreciated his responsive and professional approach. Most importantly, my store build-out completed successfully on time and on budget. I would be happy to work with Chandlee & Sons again.”
