Episode 24 of Season 2 for the Arts and Entertainment network show Sell This House : Extreme was a remodel of the kitchen, living room, family room, dining room and master bathroom in a two story house in Tucker, Georgia, a suburb east of Atlanta.
And once again, this larger project was completed in just three days by Chandlee Construction Company, the chosen Atlanta area contractor by the producers of the reality show. Chandlee Construction is a design-build, retail, commercial and light industrial contracting company with a team of architects, engineers, designers and contractors.
With this project being much larger, everyone on the set was scrambling by day three. There were several exciting moments during the filming of this episode – just look at our electrician’s face in the photo below. This remodel included Bosch appliances; Ceasar stone counter tops; Ikea cabinets and Three-Day Blinds. All new drywall, paint, lighting; and crown, base and shoe molding was installed. The team even constructed new furniture for the home – onsite! The main level was completely remodeled along with the master bathroom located upstairs. This amazing remodel was completed in 36 hours of serious teamwork – and, everything is 100% unscripted! Seth Chandlee, Jim Chandlee and their crew had a blast with Charlie Frattini, the show’s construction expert; Daniel Kucan, the show’s designer; and Tanya Memme, the show’s host.
Seth Chandlee had this to say about the two weeks that added vastly to his construction experiences: Charlie, Daniel and Tanya are true professionals and great people. Dad and I have made lasting and true friendships with these wonderful folks. Thanks so much for the great experience and opportunity.
