This commercial build-out project was another that Chandlee Construction Company completed in John Wieland’s Braeburn Village which is a high-end mixed use development located in Crabapple community of Alpharetta, Georgia north of Atlanta. This two-story commercial building is the show piece for SIMOS as their Atlanta area headquarters. Every surface including walls, ceilings and floors were built to the owner’s precise specifications. For the custom designed stairway the balusters and treads, as well as, the coffered over head beams were fashioned from 200 year old hard woods reclaimed from old buildings in the area. The building contains lavish offices, and clap board and brick walls on the first floor as seen in the photo below. Upstairs there are dedicated office suites with a hidden coffee bar and a beautiful tiled shower. The floors throughout are Brazilian teak and the kitchen and office cabinets are topped with granite. There are custom build-in cabinets and furniture throughout the space. Altogether, an extravagantly beautiful and enjoyable working environment was created for the employees and clients of the Atlanta headquarters of SIMOS.
