Chandlee Construction Company signed a contract on July 7, 2017 with Taylor Deathridge to design and build-out a new salon for her in the Chamblee Village shopping center in Chamblee, Georgia. Custom Design and Development Corporation created the architectural drawings for Chandlee Construction.
Chad Crane is the Project Manager on this 1,448 square foot commercial construction project. The scope of the tenant finish portion of the contract required demolition, prepping the floors and installing ceramic tile, constructing hair and shampoo stations, making repairs to the ceiling and installing additional plumbing. One existing door was removed to open a small space and one-half wall was removed. Existing gypsum board walls and acoustical ceiling tile remained in the salon. The finished design included one mirror wall and other walls constructed of brick, Chandlee Electric installed new lighting fixtures and receptacles.
The finished salon has 6 styling stations, 3 hair dryers, 3 wash sinks, a nail station, a make-up station, a lash and brow station, men’s and women’s restrooms, a utility room (stacked washer and dryer, tankless water heater, and scrub sink), a lobby with a reception desk, a front office for the owner and a breakroom for employees. Ms. Deathridge’s newest salon is in Suite 1-B on 1841 Chamblee Tucker Road. To view the salon’s website for more information or to schedule an appointment visit https://taylordstyles.com/.
