BIG SKY Restaurant & Bar Takes Shape – A Chandlee & Sons Construction Project

The crew from Chandlee Construction is continuing to move forward in Week 10 on the Big Sky Restaurant and Bar in Buckhead. The erection of the steel and concrete walls and floors is progressing. The design of the structure is one half steel and concrete and the other half wood with exposed beams and columns.

As seen in the front elevation drawing there are three glass garage doors on the first floor. These doors can be raised to open the bar to the outside. A second bar is located directly above that can be accessed by the stairs shown on the outside of the building and also from stairs inside the building. There is a third bar in the back of the structure on the bottom floor. Wood framing begins next week, November 4, 2013, that includes the walls on the second floor.
