Chandlee Construction Crew Moves Up to Second Floor

The crew of Chandlee Construction moved beyond the first floor by the end of week 7 on the site of the BIG SKY restaurant.

This week, October 14, 2013, the crew will begin to install the steel support beams for the walls and in between the first and second floors of this two-story building on Cains Hill Place in Buckhead. They will also continue the concrete block another 16 feet for the second floor.

This newest north Atlanta restaurant and bar, BIG SKY, will have two bar spaces of equal size; one on the first floor and a second one on the top floor. The kitchen will be located on the first floor. There will be outdoor seating patios on the front and back of the second floor and another in the front of the restaurant on the first floor, the main level. The structure will contain 12” x12” pine beams in the ceilings in a western log cabin style. This latest ground-up construction project for Chandlee Construction, a full service contracting firm located in Alpharetta, Georgia, is scheduled to open in December.
