Chandlee Construction Lights Up Basil’s in NW Atlanta!

Monday, June 8, 2015: A show-stopping light show is turned on for the first time as part of the impressive new design for the soon-to-reopen BASIL’S RESTAURANT AND basils-blog-left-pic TAPAS BAR in northwest Atlanta. This clean, welcoming design by Chandlee Construction’ architectural team includes LED lights featured behind the custom bar and along the beams in the vaulted ceiling are operated by ‘ipod’ technology. The control panel is shown in the right photo.

This well-known Atlanta restaurant burned in a fire in November of 2014. Chandlee Construction first secured the contract to demolish the burned portions of the structure. We then received the design contract. We posted the two very different designs on our Facebook page in early 2015. The design chosen was unanimous – a clean back ground with warm inviting elements and a touch of modern thrown in for good measure. The portion of the structured that was destroyed was rebuilt from the ground up allowing the Chandlee crew to removed years of repairs and remodels. The new design flows flawlessly in such a way that regular customers will be unable to discern the new build from the salvaged portions.

Chandlee Construction also secured the construction contract basils-blog-left-pic allowing Basil’s to receive a new roof, a full commercial kitchen, a cohesive exterior and beautiful interior features. The covered deck has also been brought forward into the new century. What appears to be a screen on the left in the photo is actually an “Opening Soon” banner. The restaurant is already taking reservations for their Grand Opening. Visit our website at chandleeandsonsconstruction.com under the Portfolio tab in the menu bar. Look under the Restaurants, Bars category for the entire record of the design/build for Basil’s.
