Chandlee & Sons Likes Basil – as in Basil’s Restaurant and Tapas Bar

As of this posting the portion of the restaurant that was destroyed in the November 2014 fire has been newly constructed from the ground up. The entire building is now under a new warrantied roof. The Chandlee crew has worked diligently to bring the handicapped ramp and exterior deck up to code and rough-in the electrical and plumbing. The low-profile steel vent hood has been installed along with the insulated vapor barrier beneath the floor where the walk-in cooler will sit. At this point it is nearly impossible to tell the new construction from the salvaged portion of the building.

Chandlee Construction undertook this project demolishing the burned portion of the building and correcting nearly thirty years of homemade repairs.
