Chandlee & Sons Outbids International Firm for Offices of 2014 ‘Chef of the Year

The executives of Rocket Farms Restaurants signed with Chandlee and Sons Construction in November 2014 for the design and build of their new corporate offices in northwest Atlanta. The 4,500 square building of chopped up spaces was converted into a light-doused, efficient set of eight office spaces, an employee kitchen, a meeting room, a centrally located design studio and a social events room as well as an employee kitchen, restrooms and storage rooms. Each office looks out onto the property and each one has an interior wall made of glass.The $200,000 design included a curved metal wall with a mezzanine above and the employee kitchen tucked in behind.  Skylights are located throughout the building and the floors are covered with eco-friendly seagrass.

Partner, Seth Chandlee,commented,“This opportunity gave our company a chance to show our talents and utilize our experience on a project for the top man at Rocket Farms, Ford Fry.”It was agreed in the contract that the project would be completed in five weeks and that included the demolition. Chandlee and Sons finished Rocket Farms on Friday, December 5! On the last day of construction, Chef Ford Fry passed through the new offices and commented to our project manager, “the project looks great. THANK YOU”! After the project was turned over to Rocket Farms CEO, DanielVanLoh, he had this to say, “C&S Construction did an excellent job with the expansion of our corporate office. They were very professional, finished ahead of our schedule and went beyond the original scope of work to make sure the entire space looked great when they were done. We look forward to working with them again on future projects.”
